Through workshops, classes and group work you will become familiar with the skills and knowledge that will serve as a perfect starting point for future education in Music Production. During the course you will become familiar with Songwriting and Production Skills, paired with real-world discussions about promotion and releasing your own music.
PROGRESSION AT Ô°ÇøÒùÂÒ
Completion of the course can enable progression on to our University of the Arts London (UAL)Â Awarding Body Extended Diploma or Foundation Diploma courses (if you meet the UAL entry criteria for the course).
PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS
This course is taught in English, and students are asked to communicate with each other in English, giving you the perfect opportunity to practice your English speaking, listening, writing and reading skills.
COURSE OUTCOMES
You will have written and produced an original track alongside learning to sequence and live record elements to suit your genre.
You will learn basic mixing and post-production (mastering) techniques.
You will have the opportunity to discuss other aspects of the music industry such as the processes of releasing music and promoting yourself.
You will have enjoyed the creative development achieved while rehearsing and recording original music.
ENTRY
Age
14-18 years old
Who is it for
The course is aimed at any student aged 14 to 18 years who is interested in music production and the music industry. Completion of the course can enable progression on to our Extended Diploma or Foundation Diploma courses, awarded by University of the Arts London.
English Level
Minimum English standard: International students should have at least an Upper Intermediate level of English.
