Through this popular, fun and challenging course, students will become familiar with the skills and knowledge that will serve as a perfect starting point for future education in Musical Theatre.

Musical Theatre (1-2 weeks)

This popular, fun and challenging course is lead by theatre professionals, all of whom have worked on stage and/or screen and have extensive teaching experience. Students can expect a series of rigorous and intensive classes per week in singing, dancing and acting, geared towards a performance at the end of each week.

Through workshops, classes and group work you will become familiar with the skills and knowledge that will serve as a perfect starting point for future education in Musical Theatre. Throughout the course you will become familiar with learning choreography, vocal techniques, acting through song and ensemble work. You will also have the opportunity to learn acting and improvisation techniques.

Throughout the course you will become familiar with jazz dance, vocal techniques, acting through song and ensemble work. You will also have the opportunity to learn acting and improvisation techniques.

PROGRESSION AT Ô°ÇøÒùÂÒ
Completion of the course can enable progression on to our University of the Arts London (UAL) Awarding Body Extended Diploma or Foundation Diploma courses if you meet the UAL entry criteria for the course.

PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS

This course is taught in English, and students are asked to communicate with each other in English, giving you the perfect opportunity to practice your English speaking, listening, writing and reading skills.

COURSE OUTCOMES

You will have a explored range of practical work within singing, dance and acting.

 You will have developed your storytelling skills through song and dance rehearsing and performing iconic musical theatre repertoire.

 You will have been integrated into a community of young peformers, gaining stamina and confidence, authentically presenting your self in front of a live audience at the end of each week.

14 – 18 

Who is it for
The course is aimed at any student aged 14 + who is interested in musical theatre and performing. Completion of the course can enable progression on to our Extended Diploma or Foundation Diploma courses awarded by the University of the Arts London Awarding Body.

English Level
International students should have at least an Upper Intermediate level of English
